Gaither Studios started back in 2003 with one student. Shortly afterwards we began to add students quickly. Word of mouth spread and the roster began to fill. In 2011 we went full time teaching. In 2018 we moved to our first studio location and students began coming at a rapid pace. After 6 years we outgrew that location and moved to our current location and continue to grow. Recently, a current student who has been with us for 5 years has become a teacher in the studio taking on the young students for piano. We are looking forward to what the future holds

Q.What do you teach? How long have you taught?

A. I have been teaching for 20 years now. I teach Piano, Guitar and Bass Guitar. I have played Piano for around 30 years and studied everything from classical to pop and rock. I have played guitar for 25 years and have studied everything from rock to country to metal. I have played bass for almost 20 years and can play everything from rock to funk to jazz.

Q. Where is your studio located at?

A. My studio is at 3300 SW 9th st. STE 6 in Des Moines on the corner of Park st. next to the Casey's.

Q. How much do you charge for your services?

A. My rate is $30 per half hour lesson. I usually start with a half hour lesson for beginners, but have a few students who have become advanced and require an hour.

Q. Do you have gift certificates that I can purchase?

A. Yes, we do. As of this posting, we are working on getting a point of sale set up for the site where you can purchase them online, but until that is completed you can directly contact us through the contact form and we can take care of it there.
